The Monterey Wine Trail, formerly the River Road Wine Trail, is a renowned destination for wine enthusiasts. Recently renamed to better reflect its expansive offerings, it attracts visitors from all over the world with its scenic vineyards, exceptional wineries and delightful tasting experiences.

There are 12 wineries on River Road for you to visit, each unique in its own way. Some popular wineries in Monterey County include:

Albatross Ridge: Known for its intimate and relaxed tasting experience, Albatross Ridge offers a range of meticulously crafted wines. Their tasting room features elegant and well-balanced varietals, including their acclaimed Pinot Noir.

CRŪ Winery: CRŪ Winery provides a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy their high-quality wines. The tasting room is renowned for its exceptional selection of reds and whites, including their popular Chardonnay and Bordeaux-style blends.
