Celebrate love this Valentine’s Day at Carmel Mission Inn with an enchanting evening of dining and dancing. On Friday, February 14, 2025, the hotel will host a Valentine’s Day “Mission: Boogie” dance party featuring SCARLET, the Monterey Bay area’s hottest high-energy dance band. The event will take place in the property’s Peninsula Ballroom from 7 – 10 pm. A $15 cover charge includes a complimentary welcome cocktail to set the mood for a memorable night. A full bar will be available throughout the night. Admission will be collected at the door.

Before hitting the dance floor, guests are encouraged to “pre-game” with a romantic dinner at Shearwater Tavern. Executive Chef Jae Moon has crafted several one-night-only Valentine’s Day specials designed to delight the senses and inspire romance. Starter options include an Oyster Duet topped with caviar; and an Endive & Citrus salad featuring filberts and goat cheese. Featured entrees include Seared Salmon accompanied by cauliflower, spinach, and sauce vierge; and Grilled Filet Mignon served with confit potato, carrots, and sauce Diane. Finally, to sweeten the night, guests can select from Crème Brûlée; or refreshing Sorbet. The Valentine’s Day specials are available a la carte, in addition to Shearwater Tavern’s regularly offered dinner menu. Dinner reservations are highly recommended and can be made via OpenTable.

Debuting on Valentine’s Day, the “Mission: Boogie” dance party is scheduled to take place on the second Saturday of each month. The second event is scheduled for Saturday, March 8.
