Join us for an evening of art and music as we celebrate these new exhibitions.

The five new exhibits:

Ralph Joachim - AN ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE, Gill Gallery

This exhibition is a visual interpretation of the universal features of an abstract “landscape” in the broadest meaning of that term. It attempts to explore both the “outer” physical landscape and the “inner” emotional/mental landscape of each of us. In doing so, it integrates 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes and space, individually and in combination.

Shaheen Schmidt – New Beginnings, Dyke Gallery

Nature is in a continuous rhythm of transformation, each change being the start of a new beginning. Our inner nature is deeply connected to those natural cycles outside. We celebrate spring with vibrant colors, energizing our entire being. My paintings are inspired by the natural environment as well as my own inner nature. This collection has evolved over several years to uplift viewers and communicate a sense of awakening.

THEN AND NOW: Christine Watten, Tim Hill and Rima West, Annand Gallery

Christine Watten has curated this three person group art exhibit which although having diverse mediums, is inspired by each person’s connection to the natural world, expressive content and sense of the moment. Works include Christine Watten paintings, ceramics and prints. Tim Hill’s photographs and watercolors, and Rima West’s oil pastel portraits on paper

MONTEREY GLASS ROOM ARTISTS - Romanoos, Gordon Schacher. Jackie Steakley & Susan Loewy, Boyer Gallery

We are a collective of artists, under the guidance of Professor Romanoos, united by a shared passion for creativity. With diverse goals rooted in discovery, and expansion of technique, we strive to refine our individual styles and voices. Encouraging growth and evolution, the Boots Road Collective fosters a supportive community, dedicated to exploring and celebrating the transformative power of the artistic process.

Big Sur Charter School - Exploring Nature and the Cosmos, Small Halls

Whether exploring the natural world or engaging in classroom discoveries, Big Sur Charter School students are driven by curiosity and wonder.  This exhibit highlights the creativity of our 3rd-8th graders, showcasing artwork inspired by the joy they experience through learning and the connections they make with the world around them.
