Al Jardine, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter, and best known for being one of the founding members of the California-based group The Beach Boys, will perform two fundraising concerts with his Endless Summer Band on Tuesday Dec 17 and Wednesday Dec 18, 2024, at the intimate Golden Bough Playhouse, home of Pacific Repertory Theatre, in the seaside village of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Both concerts begin at 7:30 pm.
The Tuesday December 17 concert is a special fundraiser for Pacific Repertory Theatre with a limited number of VIP packages available for $300 each, including best seating, drinks, and desserts, and a meet and greet with Al and the band. For non-VIP tickets, seats in the orchestra section are $150, and seats in the mezzanine and side sections are $125, and include drinks and desserts! For the Wednesday December 18 concert, tickets are $125 for the orchestra section and $95 for the mezzanine and side sections. Proceeds benefit the artistic programs of Pacific Repertory Theatre.

An iconic performer and longtime Big Sur resident, Al played mainly rhythm guitar and sang harmony vocals with The Beach Boys and sang lead on their No. 1 hit Help Me, Rhonda. In 1988, Al was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Beach Boys and in 2001, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award Grammy along with the other Beach Boys.
In 2010, Al released his first studio album, A Postcard From California, which featured guest appearances from Neil Young, Stephen Stills, David Crosby, Steve Miller, Glen Campbell, Gerry Beckley & Dewey Bunnell (America) and Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), plus all the remaining Beach Boys. The environmentally-themed album features Als originals Dont Fight The Sea, Looking Down The Coast and San Simeon in addition to new versions of classic Beach Boys songs Help Me, Rhonda and California Saga. The album was re-released to a worldwide audience in 2022 from Universal Music.
In 2024, Al continues to tour with his Endless Summer Band which includes his son Matt Jardine plus Debbie Shair (from the band Heart), longtime Beach Boys backing band member Bobby Figueroa, Probyn Gregory from the Brian Wilson Band and Randell Kirsch, who has performed with The Beach Boys and Jan & Dean for decades. Matt Jardine has received rave reviews for his stunning lead vocals on songs like Good Vibrations, God Only Knows, Don't Worry Baby and Surfs Up."
Als set list includes all of the legendary hits of The Beach Boys including Good Vibrations, God Only Knows", "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "California Girls," "Sloop John B", "Help Me Rhonda," plus the occasional rarity or deep cut. Al Jardines Endless Summer show has received amazing reviews over the years and is truly an event not to be missed.
