Tidewater joins The Lantern Room and the Lobby Lounge as the hotel’s third onsite dining concept, offering a well-rounded culinary experience for hotel guests, locals and visitors alike. The well-appointed space boasts modern decks with cozy fire pits and comfortable lounge seating—creating the perfect setting to unwind, sip handcrafted cocktails, and take in the best sunset on the Monterey Peninsula. The vibrant atmosphere doesn’t stop at sunset—Tidewater’s charm extends into the night, with seasonal live music and s’mores by the fire pits come nightfall. Tidewater’s seasonal menu curated by Chef Paul Corsentino showcases the best of California coastal cuisine, with hyperlocal ingredients through partnerships across Monterey. Menu highlights include fresh local seafood like the Steamed Salt Spring Mussels in a lobster coconut Thai curry broth with basil mint and grilled Ad Astra bread and Pacific Cioppino featuring local catch, clams, shrimp, squid and crab, and for something sweet, indulge in a Salted Chocolate Pot De Crème nightcap by the fire with Big Sur salt, Bing cherries, whipped cream, and hazelnut praline. The beverage selections include refreshing options like the Melonade with Grey Goose vodka, honeydew, kiwi, lime, and agave and the Citrus Rose Sangria featuring local sparkling rosé, St. George Citrus Vodka, berries, and Topo Chico lime. For breezier evenings, guests can cozy up with a Captain Stoker Irish Coffee made of local espresso, Jameson whiskey, maple syrup, and vanilla whipped cream or a Carmel Honey Co. Hot Toddy with bourbon, spices, and honey. The menu also includes a wide selection of locally sourced wines from wine partner Ian Brand, and craft beers to complement any meal.
