Ripplewood Resort is an excellent choice for rustic lodging on your next visit to Big Sur, California. The resort is conveniently located just off of Highway 1 and moments away from many of Big Sur's most popular points of interest and trail heads. Ripplewood Resort is a favorite destination for many families who return year after year. Because of its popularity, particularly during the summer months, it is advisable to make reservations well in advance. Ripplewood accepts reservations up to one year in advance.
Ripplewood features a General Store that carries a varied assortment of supplies, a Café that serves an excellent breakfast and lunch inside or out on the garden patio, Rustic Cabins along the river, and a Chevron Gas Station where you can top off your tank before heading home.
Ripplewood resort offers 17 free standing cabins, one of which is a duplex. Most of the cabins have modestly equipped kitchens and wood burning fireplaces (one bundle of wood included daily). Kitchen amenities include a refrigerator, a four burner stove with oven (no microwaves), basic utensils, cookware, and a coffee maker with coffee packets. All of the cabins include housekeeping daily, and are provided with bedding and bath amenities.
Some of the cabins have decks that are perched over the Big Sur River, so you can be lulled to sleep by the sounds of the river.
