Ad Asta Bread Co. (Carmel Valley) Ad Astra will be opening its second location in Carmel Valley this spring! They will be offering coffee/tea, pastries and retail bread along with a sit-down menu for breakfast and lunch.

El Padrino Restaurant (Seaside) A new authentic Oaxacan food restaurant has opened in Seaside. This culinary journey to Oaxaca offers fresh, handmade gluten-free tortillas, fresh salsa, empanadas and more.

Mad Dogs & Englishmen Coffee Bar (Carmel-by-the-Sea) Carmel-by-the-Sea's newest coffee specialty has opened and is part of Mad Dogs & Englishmen Bike & Coffee Shop! They proudly serve single-origin specialty coffee and delicious local pastries.

Oystertown (Monterey) Oystertown created by Chef Philip Wojtowicz & Monica Schweiger is a new and intimate oyster counter that offers a fun dining experience and direct service. They are open on Friday and Saturday starting at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday starting at 11:30 a.m. No reservations at this time, only accepting walk-ins.  

Patria (Salinas) Under its new ownership, Patria has released a new daily brunch buffet. The buffet offers a daily rotating selection of locally sourced ingredients and chef-inspired dishes.

Perfectly Pressed (Carmel-by-the-Sea) Located in the Carmel Plaza, Perfectly Pressed is now open daily! They offer handcrafted cold pressed juice, cleanses, smoothies and bowls.

Sierra Mar (Big Sur) Sierra Mar was closed for the winter and is now reopened with a fresh look. Lunch and dinner are available to the general public highlighting a prix-fixe menu by the Chef's Garden Harvest. This is a great location to admire the Big Sur coast.

Peter B’s (Monterey) Monterey’s first craft brewery is currently undergoing a makeover! This renovation includes an overhaul of the 4,880-square foot space, including the main restaurant, bar and patio. After the renovation, this space will simply be known as Peter B’s. Guests are still able to enjoy the delicious beer at local restaurants, including Jacks Monterey at Portola Hotel & Spa. The renovation is expected to be completed by Summer 2025.

7D Tea Party (Carmel-by-the-Sea) On May 19, 2025, Seventh & Dolores is bringing tea parties to a whole new level. For $75 per person, guests are able to enjoy an afternoon filled with savory bites, tea and bubbles. Seatings are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. so make sure to book a reservation for this unique tea experience!

Monterey Bay F.C. Season (Seaside) Monterey Bay FC’s season has officially started! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to attend these exciting games. Go Union! Learn more and purchase tickets here.  

Wildflower Experience at Lake San Antonio (South County) The Wildflower Experience is a full weekend triathlon festival at Lake San Antonio. Triathlons include long distance to sprint distance, a gravel triathlon, 20K trail run, 5K and 10K fun runs and open water swim. In addition, there will be food trucks, yoga, wine tastings and much more to discover in just 3 days! This event is from May 2 – 4, 2025. Learn more and sign up here.
