What is Monterey Car Week?
The iconic Monterey Car Show spans 10 days, starting Friday, August 9, through Sunday, August 18, 2024, with auto shows, races, auctions, car unveilings and more. The festivities conclude with a showcase on the iconic fairways at Pebble Beach for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Some of the key events to watch out for include:
- August 9 Monterey Car Week Kickoff (Free): A remarkable collection of historic race cars line Alvarado Street in Monterey before racing at Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. Meet the drivers and enjoy music and giveaways at this family-friendly event.
- August 10-11 Monterey Pre-Reunion & Corkscrew Hill Climb: Explore row after row of authentic historic race cars before enjoying the track. On Sunday, experience the thrill of cars flying reverse course up the Corkscrew to the finish in a fun and exciting exhibition. Tickets required.
- August 17 Concours D’Lemons (Free): Back again to “ruin” Monterey Car Week, the Concours d'Lemons celebrates the oddball, mundane and truly awful of the automotive world.
- August 17 Monterey Motorsports Festival: This festival showcases sports cars and allows enthusiasts to engage in workshops, racing simulators, interviews and autograph sessions with championship drivers from around the world. Tickets required.
- August 18 Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance: The finest collector cars gather on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links to compete for Best of Show—the top award of the week! Tickets required.
Monterey Car Week 2024 Tickets and Reservations
To attend the different festivities at Monterey Car Week, we recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time on each event’s website. However, many shows, races and presentations also offer on-site ticket sales, so check before you go.
Bigger events, like the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance, offer multiple ticket types, ranging from general admission to VIP experiences. Be sure to get your tickets early to secure your spot. Additionally, you’ll find several free Monterey Car Week events that are worth checking out.
Parking, Shuttles and Accommodations
During Monterey Car Week 2024, parking can be challenging due to the high volume of attendees. Designated parking areas will be available at major event locations, but it’s advisable to arrive early. Shuttle services will run frequently between key venues, including the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Pebble Beach, to ease transportation.
