The Links Club is thrilled to announce the upcoming Battle of the Bartenders 2025, where the finest bartenders from the hospitality industry will compete for the coveted title of Grand Mixologist. This annual event promises to be more exciting than ever, as invitations have been sent out to a select group of talented mixologists ready to showcase their skills and creativity.
This year, the competition expands to include a new round featuring the picturesque locales of Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach, in addition to the beloved Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley, Big Sur and Monterey.
The first rounds kick off on February 24, 2025, and will span over seven months, culminating in an exhilarating showcase of talent and flavor.
Competition Schedule:
- February 24 thru April 1: Carmel-by-the-Sea Round
- May 5 - 19: Carmel and Beyond Round, featuring top establishments from Big Sur and Carmel Valley
- September 8 – October 20: Monterey Round
- October 27- November 10: Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach Round (all New)
- November 17 & 24 Semi-Finals featuring 4 Area Winners
- December 1: Grand Championship
All rounds will be held on Monday at the Links Club located in Carmel Plaza, providing an elegant backdrop for this spirited competition. Guests are invited to join the fun as judges, sampling each bartender's unique creations while enjoying a specially curated snack menu included with their ticket.
Last year’s champion, Radiance Weaver from Lolla Grill, is set to return, along with a stellar lineup of competitors from renowned establishments such as Vesuvio, Cello, Compact Disc, Baja Cantina, Sadie’s, and Kona Grill. This year's battle is sure to be a thrilling showcase of creativity, skill, and camaraderie among the best bartenders in the region.
