Looking for Local Live Theater in Monterey County?  For current and future shows in Monterey County, go to TheatreMonterey.org Monterey County Theatre Alliance, a tax-exempt non-profit charity since 1985 was initially established by a group of local theatre producers.  Over the years, MCTA continued to expand its activities to include publishing and posting promotional materials for the theatres, publicize audition announcements and theatre-related classes and workshops, coordinate post-show discussions with actors and directors, conduct fundraising events for special projects, organize special events and receptions.
